Some of the most mission-critical military vehicles in history have been produced here, including the Bradley Fighting Vehicle and M88A2 HERCULES. Today, it serves as a production hub for the U.S. Army’s Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV) and the Marine Corp’s Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV). Home to about 1,500 employees, the York facility has approximately 1 million square feet under roof and sits on 143 acres in rural York County. The facility includes 750,600 square feet of manufacturing space and 234,100 square feet of office space. It is also home to a vehicle test track and swim pond. BAE Systems’ York site supports a variety of community initiatives, including local veterans’ groups, technology schools, and more.
