Vaccine Requirements:

As you’ve probably heard in the media, following President Biden’s Executive Order, the Federal Safer Workplace Task Force has now issued new guidance requiring COVID-19 vaccinations for all federal contractors.

In order to comply with this federal mandate,
BAE Systems, Inc. employees in the United States must be fully vaccinated, including employees who work remotely. The guidance does not consider periodic COVID-19 testing as an acceptable alternative. Employees who cannot be vaccinated because of a disability or sincerely held religious belief may request an accommodation.

New employees will be required to submit proof of vaccination or an approved accommodation on their first day of employment.

The following documents are acceptable as proof of vaccination status:

  • A copy of the record of immunization from a health care provider or pharmacy;

  • A copy of the COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card (CDC Form MLS-319813_r, published on September 3, 2020);

  • A copy of medical records documenting the vaccination;

  • A copy of immunization records from a public health or State immunization information system; or,

  • A copy of any other official documentation verifying vaccination with information on the vaccine name, date(s) of administration, and the name of health care professional or clinic site administering vaccine.

Please have these documents ready to submit on your first day. If you have any questions, please contact your recruiter.

BAE Systems’ Facilities Guidance:

If you will be starting at a BAE Systems’ facility, please review the below statements. If you cannot affirm each statement, you may not enter the facility. Please contact your recruiter right away to discuss you options.

  • I am not awaiting a COVID-19 diagnosis or test result.

  • I do not have any of the symptoms that the CDC states are typical of COVID-19: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea.

  • I understand that I am required to wear my face covering unless my facility updates their guidance and I meet all the necessary requirements.

  • I am committed to keeping physical distancing of at least 6 feet where possible.

  • I am in compliance with the CDC’s current recommendations for travel, based on vaccination status.

  • I am in compliance with the CDC’s current recommendations for exposure and quarantine, based on vaccination status.

*In general, you are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after your final dose of vaccine.
