Our Apprentice Program is a structured, four-year program designed to transform individuals with minimal trade experience into First Class Journeyman thru a combination of on-the-job training and related instruction.
Apprentices will participate in a four-year curriculum through the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER) and Tidewater Community College (TCC) for job related classes.
The Apprentice Program started in 1936 and has graduated more than 1,000 welders, electricians, riggers, and ship fitters since its inception; many of whom have become supervisors, managers and senior leaders with the company.
