The Norfolk Ship Repair Apprentice Program is a structured, four-year program designed to transform individuals with minimal trade experience into first-class Journeymen. Apprentices will earn competitive wages with on-the-job training and participate in classes through the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER) and Tidewater Community College (TCC).

The program also offers competitive wage & benefit package with paid time off & holidays. Since 1936, we've had more than 1000 graduates and many are now in leadership roles. Apply today for one of our trade areas: Blacksmith,  Carpenter, Electrician, Facilities Maintenance, Pipefitter, Rigger, Sheetmetal, Shipfitter, or Welder.
