Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)

Our eight Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are employee-led communities united by a common goal to create a workplace where everyone is valued and feels they belong. Under the umbrella of our Multicultural Network (MCN), ERGs are a vital part of our commitment to DEI. They serve as centers for learning, growth and belonging for all employees at BAE Systems.

African Americans Committed to Excellence (AACE)

As a community that represents a continuum of many distinct cultures, AACE is dedicated to advocating for the growth, professional development, advancement and well-being of African Americans in the workplace. AACE provides a safe and open forum for dialogue, collaboration and community.

Abilities Beyond Limits and Expectations (ABLE)

ABLE educates, inspires and develops resources that foster connection with the organization and its employees to support and create an accessible, equitable environment for those with disabilities as well as caregivers.

Asian Pacific Islanders Reaching Excellence (ASPIRE)

ASPIRE fosters and inspires growth for the Asian Pacific Islander (API) community. It enables authenticity in the workplace by educating and empowering, amplifying API voices, and contributing to personal and professional development.

Hispanic Organization for Leadership Advancement (HOLA)

The mission of HOLA is to drive positive change by engaging and connecting with its members to highlight and prioritize Hispanic and Latin American needs at BAE Systems and within local communities.

Generations Working Together (GEN)

GENerations builds bridges across generations and strengthens our community by providing a network and open forum that promotes collaboration for us to become more than the sum of our parts.

OutLink

OutLink seeks to create a supportive, psychologically safe environment that normalizes a sense of belonging for LGBTQ+ employees and allies, resulting in stronger teams and better business outcomes.

Veterans Support Network (VSN)

The VSN's mission is to meet the needs and challenges of our veterans and their allies by educating, listening to and advocating for the community while fostering an inclusive culture within BAE Systems.

Women’s Inclusive Network (WIN)

WIN aims to advance all women in the workplace by fostering connection, development and belonging in the company and the community. WIN leverages inclusion to build bridges and create alliances, igniting women to lead from any seat.

Our ERG experience

Made up of about 5,000 members and growing, our Employee Resource Groups play a key role in our journey to foster an environment where everyone is valued and enabled to thrive. Embedded in the ERG experience is a commitment to three pillars: learning, growing, and belonging.
Learn new skills
Our ERGs are centers for learning. They create impactful opportunities and safe spaces to ask questions, listen, have discussions, and build cultural competence.
Grow your career
Our ERGs are talent incubators. They grow our talent pipeline and provide opportunities to foster personal and professional development so that everyone can reach their full potential.
Belong to a community
Our ERGs prioritize belonging. They advance a culture that enables employees be their best and most sincere selves and to feel safe, connected and valued.

Become an ERG leader or site ambassador

Our ERG leadership roles are a key development opportunity for employees across the enterprise. ERG leaders grow their leadership skills, gain exposure to senior leaders, positively impact the business and develop real and lasting connections with other colleagues.

Expand your network

Each year, members of our ERGs attend Diversity Partner Conferences and host internal events to foster learning, growth and belonging. Examples of internal ERG events include ABLE’s, “Sharing our Truths” series, VSN’s, “Stories of Service” series, and ASPIRE’s book club.

Support a cause in your community

Our ERGs invest in local communities, channeling their contributions into social impact partnerships to advance meaningful change both inside and outside of the workplace. Each ERG has its own social impact partner.
